Conference bridges let multiple parties join a single audio call using a shared access code. Ideal for team meetings, client calls, and remote working scenarios.
Creating a Conference Room
Navigate to Conference Rooms in the portal. Click Add Room. Assign a conference number (e.g., 700) and an optional PIN code for security. Give it a descriptive name such as Weekly Team Call.
Joining a Conference
Internal users dial the conference room number (e.g., 700) from their extension. External participants call your DID number — route them to the conference room via the Call Flow Designer. Enter the PIN when prompted.
Conference Options
Options include: Mute on Entry (participants are muted until they press *6), Announce Participants (play a tone or name when someone joins), and Record Conference (saves the full call as an MP3 in the portal).
Recording Conferences
Enable recording in the Conference Room settings. Recordings appear under Call Recordings in the portal after the call ends. Download or share the MP3 file as needed. Storage limits apply based on your plan.
