Ordering New Numbers

Local numbers use a state-based area code (e.g., 08 for WA, 03 for VIC). They appear local to your customers. Order via the VoIPCloud portal under Phone Numbers → Order Number → Geographic. Select your preferred area code and choose from available numbers.

1300 numbers cost callers their local call rate (included in most mobile plans). 1800 numbers are free to call from anywhere in Australia. Both are ideal for businesses that want a national presence. Order via Phone Numbers → Order Number → Smart Numbers.

VMNs are 04xx mobile numbers that route to your VoIP service. They also support 2-way SMS. Useful for businesses that want customers to reach them on a mobile number without sharing a personal phone. A one-off activation fee applies.

New numbers provisioned from the VoIPCloud number pool are active within minutes. The number will appear in your portal under Phone Numbers → My Numbers immediately after ordering.
